Spa Design and Build in the South East: Where Affluence Meets Innovation in Wellness

The South East is one of the most commercially compelling regions in the UK for spa and wellness investment. Country house hotels across Surrey, Kent, Berkshire and Oxfordshire serve some of the country’s most affluent catchments. Coastal and rural destinations in Sussex and Hampshire attract high-value leisure visitors. And the concentration of premium hotel brands in the region (from independent country houses to five-star branded hotels) means the quality benchmark for new wellness facilities is high.

Alkaline 360 provides design consultancy and project coordination for spa, gym and wellness facility developments across the South East. We work with hotels, leisure operators and commercial facilities at every stage of the development process, from initial feasibility and concept design through to technical planning, contractor sourcing and coordinating delivery on site.

South East - Oxford

Working across the region

Our work in the South East includes The Spa Hotel in Tunbridge Wells, a full spa refurbishment project in a working hotel environment, requiring careful coordination across design, specialist installation and principal contractor teams to deliver to a luxury standard without disrupting day-to-day operations.

The South East rewards operators who invest in quality. Guests in this region have high expectations and genuine choice, a well-designed, well-specified spa facility creates a meaningful competitive advantage. Our design and feasibility work is structured to help operators understand exactly what level of investment is required to achieve a specific commercial outcome, before committing to a full project.

Areas we cover

We work across the full South East region, including Surrey, Kent, Sussex, Hampshire, Berkshire, Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire.

What working with Alkaline looks like

We act as your design consultancy and project coordinator throughout. Our process begins with feasibility and concept design, moves through technical planning and contractor sourcing, and continues through to handover and opening. At the construction stage, the principal contractor contracts directly with you, our role is to coordinate and advise, ensuring delivery remains consistent with the design intent and your budget.

There is no obligation to our initial consultations. If you have a project in mind, at any stage of development, get in touch to discuss it.
